London based artist Camille Munn steps into a fresh chapter with new single ‘Get Down’, out now via Brighter Days Family. Produced by Reek0 and Felix.cw, the track blends Camille’s warm, expressive vocals with electronic production and a playful ’80s influence, taking the neo soul foundations of her sound firmly towards the dancefloor.

Centred around movement, freedom and connection, ‘Get Down’ came together instinctively after Camille was immediately drawn to the production. “It’s dance music reimagined, pulling from nostalgic influences while pushing forward with a modern twist,” she explains. “I love the pairing of electronic production with my soulful vocals.” Influenced by the likes of D’Angelo, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott and Chaka Khan, Camille retains that soulful intimacy while carving out her own space between soul, electronic and dance music.

The release continues a strong period for Camille, whose development through the Brighter Days Family has included collaborations with artists including IZCO, alongside live appearances supporting Yussef Dayes in Bristol and Brighton. With previous backing from Rinse FM, Notion and The Blues Project, plus summer appearances at We Out Here, Worldwide Festival and V&A Music is Black, ‘Get Down’ adds further momentum to an increasingly distinctive sound.
