LYNOX - LOVE & HERBS (EP)

Birmingham based Nigerian artist LYNOX steps into his latest solo chapter with LOVE & HERBS, a warm and soulful four track EP exploring love, healing, nature, freedom and the search for peace. Written entirely by Lynox and produced by Blacknotes and Ceeceebeatz, the project draws on reggae, afro dancehall, soul and afrofusion, with melodic basslines, expressive saxophone and spacious live inspired instrumentation giving the songs room to breathe.

The EP opens with ‘Mr. Farmer’, a laid back reggae celebration of nature and those who cultivate it, before ‘Kiss From Heaven’ explores the comfort and security of unconditional love. ‘Control Me’ captures the vulnerability and emotional surrender of falling deeply for someone, while closing track ‘Marijuana’ taps into reggae’s long standing relationship with cannabis, meditation, freedom and self expression, blending classic reggae influences with Lynox’s African musical roots.

Born in Ajegunle, Lagos State and now based in Birmingham, Lynox has steadily built a career spanning afrobeats, reggae and dancehall. After early collaborations with Masterkraft, he formed the duo Playaz alongside Gabana, scoring a breakout moment with the Zlatan assisted ‘Mad Oh’. His subsequent solo releases have included ‘Big Body Benz’ featuring Xbusta, viral favourite ‘Stay With Me’ and ‘Luv You Bad’. With LOVE & HERBS, Lynox brings those experiences together for a personal, cohesive project centred on connection, humanity and music made to last.
