Nicole Blakk - Broke Love (Single)

Nicole Blakk Returns With ‘Broke Love’.

Watford’s Nicole Blakk returns with her second single of the year, Broke Love, arriving 20 March via Second Phase Records. Following the cash focused energy of Money (On My Mind), the new release turns its attention to self worth, boundaries and the frustrations of modern dating.

Set over a warm yet moody lo-fi backdrop, the track finds Nicole reflecting on partners who promise plenty but deliver very little. Her smooth blend of rap and melody moves between English and French, capturing the voice of someone who has grown tired of giving chances to people who cannot show up properly. The hook, “Where’d your money go,” lands as both a playful jab and a pointed reality check.

Nicole says the song was sparked by a date that went completely wrong, but quickly became a reminder about recognising your value and refusing to settle for less.

The single arrives after a busy February that saw Nicole attend the first BRIT Awards held in Manchester and make appearances across London Fashion Week, while Money (On My Mind) continues to gain traction across radio and social media.

Raised in Watford, Nicole Blakk has built a reputation for her genre fluid sound and multilingual delivery, moving between English, French and Punjabi. With Broke Love, she continues to establish herself as one of the UK’s most compelling emerging voices.
