UK Rap trailblazer Fliptrix has teamed up with Boy Better Know legend Frisco on the genre-bending, double time anthem ‘Visionaries’, the final single from his new album ‘Elevation’, both out on High Focus Records.

Citing Grime as a key influence in his musical journey, and having worked with all the greats in the UK hip hop scene over the years, it was only a matter of a time before Fliptrix went bar for bar with a true grime legend; Frisco answering the call with a feature verse on ‘Visionaries’ that solidifies his status as a leading voice in the grime scene. Reflecting on past and present lives in the capital, the duo lace Forest DLG’s textured instrumental with complex flow patterns, full blooded punchlines and unapologetic truths, ‘Visionaries’ bridges the gap between UK rap and grime in emphatic style.

‘Elevation’ is album eleven from High Focus Records founder and 1/4 of The Four Owls. The latest instalment in a formidable run sees the lyricist further his vision of the world in the hope of elevating the collective mind and spirit of both artist and listener across 19 tracks.

The album is fully produced by long-time collaborator Forest DLG. After fifteen years of working together across mixing, mastering and selected joints, this is the first time the pair have locked in for a complete body of work, and the chemistry shows.

Fliptrix actively sought out new energies on ‘Elevation’, especially when it comes to the album features. Jungle forefather General Levy on lead single ‘ENERGY! ENERGY! ENERGY!’, Ayah Marar on ‘Transform’, Da Flyy Hooligan, Kamakaze, Coops, and a 20-strong High Focus posse cut in the shape of ‘Dangerous’.
