Kemastry x Harvs Le Toad - Firework Factory (Album)

Firework Factory, produced by Harvs Le Toad, is out now. A 14 track release that finds Kemastry at his most exposed and most explosive. Featuring Young 40, King Kashmere, Datkid, Verbz, Pitch 92 and more, the album blends jazzy, head nodding introspection with moments of chaos, nihilism and genuine healing.

Written between Brighton and London, Firework Factory is a study of self destruction and repetition. Addiction, heartbreak and ambition sit at the core, but this time Kemastry turns his focus inward, trying to understand the cycles of carnage rather than just documenting them. The result is immersive, uncomfortable and deeply human, music that doesn’t flinch but still reaches for clarity.

Alongside his work as a community activist and veteran youth worker, Kemastry has built a reputation as one of the UK’s sharpest lyricists. Signed to High Focus Records as part of CMPND in 2019, he has released two critically acclaimed albums with the group, toured extensively, and played stages from Fabric to the Royal Albert Hall. Recent solo projects Directors Notes Say Smile, Eyes Say Different and the politically charged Revolutionary EP paved the way for what feels like his most complete and uncompromising statement to date.

Firework Factory doesn’t offer easy answers, but it asks the right questions, loudly.
