Pozzy - Step on the Train (Single)
Pozzy steps out with new single Step on the Train.
Cambridge-born and London-based artist Pozzy has just dropped his new single Step on the Train, a jazz-infused cut that pushes beyond the boundaries of the mellow grime sound he’s become known for.
At just 20, Pozzy is already making waves in the UK’s alternative music scene, blending grime, rap, R&B and electronic textures into something both infectious and deeply personal. His latest release captures the rhythm of everyday life in London, pairing bouncy flows with thoughtful lyricism – a glimpse into the bigger project he’s set to unveil later this year.
Raised in Bury St Edmunds, Pozzy’s musical journey started early with the piano, before a pull towards production led him to study at West Suffolk College and later the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London. His eclectic influences – from Eminem to Bruno Mars – come through in his refusal to be boxed into one genre.
This summer proved a turning point when his track Might Go Out went viral after a BBC 1Xtra clip, earning him co-signs from the likes of Sir Spyro, AntsLive and Adidas. With more music, live shows, visuals and merch in the pipeline, Pozzy isn’t just building his sound – he’s building culture.
