JACOTÉNE returns with new single ‘Leave Me (Please Don’t Leave Me)’.

After a breakthrough year, Melbourne-born, London-based artist JACOTÉNE has released her latest single Leave Me (Please Don’t Leave Me) – a soulful yet uplifting track she penned on her very first day in London.

The song pairs her distinctive, soul-rooted vocals with soaring choral textures – a nod to her beginnings in church choirs – and was produced by Grammy winner J Moon (Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys). JACOTÉNE describes it as “a song about saying goodbye, and realising that those you love will always stay with you, even when you move on.”

It follows last month’s fiery single Why’d You Do That?, and builds on the success of her debut EP Untitled (Read My Mind) – a six-track project recorded in Miami that showcased both empowerment anthems and tender ballads.

At just 19, JACOTÉNE has already toured across Europe, played standout London headline shows, supported the likes of Tems and G Flip, and performed at CHANEL’s Métiers d'Art celebration. With nods from NME, ELLE, and COLORS, her fearless mix of intimate storytelling and powerhouse vocals has cemented her as one of 2025’s most exciting new voices.
