NorthsideBenji gears up for Misery Loves Company.

Canadian Trap&B artist NorthsideBenji steps into a new era with his new album Misery Loves Company. The 17-track project captures his growth as both a musician and storyteller, weaving melodic honesty with his signature sharp lyricism.

The latest single, Chasing a High, produced by Ashton Chisholm, has already sparked buzz following an early leak and now arrives with a slick visual from KR Productions. It follows Harder to Please, which set the tone for the album’s introspective yet polished sound.

Created across Dubai, London, Vancouver, and Los Angeles, Misery Loves Company is a globally inspired record that dives into themes of growth, loss, and the pressures of success. Features include UK favourite Nafe Smallz on A1, as well as NAV, NoCap and Tory Lanez, with production from long-time collaborators Money Musik and Elix2, alongside a roster of international talent.

Benji’s UK ties remain central to his journey – with roots in Manchester and a history of collaborations with Nines, Headie One, Unknown T and Nafe Smallz. His viral Fire in the Booth session and COLORS performance cemented his international profile, while tracks like Millions and Don’t Change showcase his ability to connect across cultures.

To celebrate the new album, Benji hosted an exclusive launch party in London on 18th September before heading to London Fashion Week and then embarking on a Canadian headline tour from 8th October.

With over 150 million streams to his name, Benji continues to redefine the boundaries of Canadian hip-hop, bringing Trap&B to a global stage.
