Sammy Virji has firmly cemented his spot as one of UK dance music’s brightest names with the release of his second album, Same Day Cleaning, out now via Capitol Records.

The UKG heavyweight has been riding serious momentum on both sides of the Atlantic. From pulling in some of the biggest crowds at his debut Coachella sets, to linking with Skepta on Cops & Robbers (which has already passed 11 million streams), Virji’s rise feels unstoppable. Recent collaborations with Chris Lake and Issey Cross only cranked up anticipation for the full LP.

Across 16 tracks, Same Day Cleaning dives deep into UK club culture, with heavyweight features from Giggs, MJ Cole, Tuff Jam, Spice, Flowdan, Unknown T and more. The record moves seamlessly between garage, grime and house, bridging old-school foundations with fresh energy.

2025 has already been a landmark year: festival slots everywhere from Reading & Leeds to Outside Lands, a B2B with Four Tet, and huge crowds at Forest Hills Stadium in New York. And next spring, Virji levels up again with two sold-out headline shows at London’s iconic Alexandra Palace – his biggest yet on home soil.
