GENA - HOWWEFLOW (Official Video)

GENA, the duo of Liv.e and Karriem Riggins, have announced their debut album, The Pleasure Is Yours, out 27th February on Lex Records.  

Ostensibly an odd couple, LA based artist Liv.e (pronounced "liv") and renowned Detroit drummer and producer Riggins quickly recognised each other as kindred musical spirits soon after meeting.  Having performed a series of low key shows together in 2025 under the mysterious moniker GENA, short for God Energy, Naturally Amazing, the pair are now ready to step in to the spotlight with their sublime, fun loving music.  

Alongside the news, GENA have shared highly addictive single, HOWWEFLOW, and a playful accompanying music video directed by Mackai Sharp.  

HOWWEFLOW draws on the hip-hop inspirations behind GENA with a looped, echoing chorus that captures the lightning in a bottle moment of Liv.e and Riggins meshing their styles together seamlessly.  This new single follows earlier offering Circlez, and both tracks are lifted from The Pleasure Is Yours.
