Offset Drops Surprise Album Haunted By Fame.

Just two months after the release of his acclaimed third solo album Kiari, Offset has surprised fans with a brand new project Haunted By Fame, out now via Motown Records.

The 11 track album was recorded on the road during the rapper’s current US arena tour with YoungBoy Never Broke Again, and fittingly, several of his tourmates YoungBoy, NoCap and Lil Dump make guest appearances. The sessions took place while on tour, giving the project its raw, urgent energy.

Lead single I Heard featuring YoungBoy captures that livewire chemistry perfectly, the pair trading bars over chiming keys and funky guitars. Offset switches effortlessly between melody and machine gun triplets, while YoungBoy brings his trademark grit and fire.

Across the record, Offset sounds as sharp and confident as ever. From the boastful opener Free Pick (“I ain’t never been humble, I’m cocky”) to the cold closer Headhunter, he flexes his lyrical muscles over heavy hitting production from London Jae, Pooh Beatz, Go Grizzly, Mally Mall, Kaigoingcrazy and more. N.A.M.E, featuring NoCap, offers a brief moment of reflection with a surprisingly folk tinged backdrop, before the energy spikes again on Another Problem with Lil Dump.

Haunted By Fame follows the deluxe edition of Kiari, which dropped in August and drew widespread praise for its mix of introspection and bravado. Rolling Stone hailed it as proof that Offset is “at the top of his game,” while Vibe called it a reminder of “every side of the Atlanta rapper fans grew to love.”

Whether reflecting on fame or flexing his dominance, Offset continues to prove he is more than a Migos alumnus and a solo force still pushing his sound forward.

Haunted By Fame is available now on all major platforms.
