Danny Sanchez - Unkind (Single)

Danny Sanchez Returns with Introspective New Single ‘Unkind’.

South London’s own Danny Sanchez makes a powerful return with his latest single Unkind, marking a fresh chapter both sonically and personally. Following a short hiatus after the release of his debut album It Is What It Is Til It Isn’t, the Brixton-born artist steps back into the spotlight with renewed purpose.

Teaming up once again with long-time collaborator Cotton, Sanchez delivers a soul-stirring, melancholic track that weaves together elements of UK underground rap and smooth, soulful tones. Known for his sharp lyricism and emotional honesty, ‘Unkind’ explores themes of growth, solitude and self-acceptance, offering a raw reflection on navigating adulthood and creative evolution.

Speaking on the release, Danny shares: “‘Unkind’ is my first solo release in over a year, the beginning of a new chapter both personally and creatively. It’s about growth, learning to accept the past and appreciate where you’ve come from whilst working toward becoming your best self.

Having gained support from the likes of CLASH, Complex UK, Wonderland, Notion, TRENCH and more, as well as performing at the Haldern Pop Festival and Some Day Festival, Sanchez continues to cement his place as one of the UK’s most compelling underground voices.

Raised in Streatham with Spanish and Paraguayan roots, Danny’s music bridges rap, R&B and alternative UK sounds, blending introspection with effortless charm. With ‘Unkind’, he reaffirms his position as a leading light in the next wave of UK artistry.
