Founded in the UK by a designer and a language professor, Idioma brings together two worlds that don’t always collide, fashion and linguistics, to create something genuinely different. Their pieces are designed to catch the eye, but also to spark curiosity, encouraging people to engage with cultures beyond their own.

That ethos feels like a natural fit for Wordplay. As a platform built on music, street culture and independent creativity, we’ve always been drawn to brands that stand for something more. Idioma’s commitment to ethical production, cultural awareness and storytelling through design aligns closely with what we aim to represent, authenticity, expression and connection.

Since launching in 2011, Idioma has grown from a simple idea, introducing languages through design into a globally followed brand with a loyal and engaged community. Their approach is thoughtful, their message is clear, and their purpose goes beyond just products.
