THRIFTY TOWEL: AKIRA TOWEL RE-WORKED COLLECTION

We got the opportunity to attend Thrifty Towel: Akira Towel Re-worked Collection and it did not disappoint. The Collection was held at Known Source in Mayfair. There were free drinks on arrival provided by Ghost Labs, a screening, a catwalk of the collection and of course photo opportunities. It was an absolute vibe the audience members had also gone out of their way to dress to the nines.

The Akira Towel Reworked Collection transforms vintage and damaged originals into one-of-a-kind pieces. From denim and outerwear to towels and sportswear, each item is carefully reworked with bold details like off-centre zips, embroidery, and signature hardware. Merging heritage brands with contemporary design, the collection celebrates individuality, craftsmanship, and sustainable style.
