JUNO Award winning, multi platinum Canadian pop artist Preston Pablo returns with upbeat new single ‘Don’t Wanna Know’, out now via 31 East and Universal Music Canada.

Written alongside Soran, who also handles production, and singer songwriter Zach Zoya, the track pairs bright, energetic production with a more complicated emotional core. ‘Don’t Wanna Know’ captures the uncomfortable thought of someone you love, or once loved, moving on with somebody else, but Pablo keeps things light and infectious, with punchy drums, synth stabs and an effortless summer feel.

Despite arriving now, the song has actually been sitting with Pablo for around four years. “I still genuinely enjoy listening to it, and it somehow still feels fresh all these years later,” he explains. “Soran’s production is really the star, the big drum fills, the synth stabs, and the atmosphere he created are insane to me.”

‘Don’t Wanna Know’ follows Pablo’s five track EP Almost Always, released in July and featuring ‘Tidal Wave’, ‘Dive’, ‘Selfish’, ‘Cause I Do’ and ‘You Got Me’. The project marked his first new body of work since 2024’s Anywhere But Here and continues a new chapter for an artist who has already amassed close to 800 million global streams.

Best known for quadruple platinum breakout ‘Flowers Need Rain’, which helped earn him the 2023 JUNO Award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year, Pablo continues to build on his reputation as one of Canada’s leading new generation pop voices, with plenty more promised throughout 2026.
