KWONIX - DEVIATE (EP)

LA duo KWONIX continue to carve out their own lane with DEVIATE, a genre blurring EP that effortlessly blends jazz, soul, funk and pop. Made up of Kwo and Unïx, the pair showcase the creative chemistry that's defined their partnership since first connecting online in 2023.

Opening with the mellow groove of Wading, the EP quickly shifts gears with the disco leaning falsetto of So Obvyus, before Everything I Need and IKNOWYULUHME highlight the project's versatility through warm keys, smooth vocals and expansive arrangements. Closing track FULL SPEED rounds things off in style, pairing soaring vocals with lush harmonies, syncopated rhythms and dreamy flute melodies.

Created from a cross country FaceTime session that evolved into a full creative partnership, DEVIATE feels both deeply personal and musically adventurous.
