Chuck Strangers ft: Obii Say - Everyday (Single)

Brooklyn born rapper and producer Chuck Strangers has announced new album, Glory of the King's Hand, out 10th July on Lex Records.  

Lead single, Everyday featuring Obii Say, is out worldwide now.

Glory of the King's Hand finds Strangers continuing to build on the classic golden age New York hip hop blueprint, updating it for the modern era.  The album features billy woods, Zeroh and Obii Say, with production from The Alchemist,  Kenny Segal,  Preservation,  Human Error Club,  Child Actor, Animoss, and others.  Of the project, Strangers says; “I made choruses, there's melodies, there's instrumentation…  I really tried to just make better songs that people might want to hear again, that are more than just a good verse.”

Now based in Los Angeles, Strangers first first broke through as a beatmaker within the Pro Era collective before evolving into a fully fledged solo artist. In 2023, after signing to Lex, he released The Boys & Girls EP, featuring Navy Blue, Fly Anakin, and Pink Siifu.  The following year brought A Forsaken Lover’s Plea, an album that frames his relationship with hip hop as a tragic love story, equal parts vulnerability and defiance, with appearances from Joey Bada$$, Erick the Architect, and Remy Banks.  Since then, he has released a collaborative project with Boldy James and toured internationally.
