Charlie Jeer - Mona Lisa (Mahalia Remix) (Single)
Charlie Jeer teams up with Mahalia for Mona Lisa remix.
With more than 100 million streams to his name, Charlie Jeer continues to build momentum as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging artists. Following the release of his debut EP Everything Is Temporary in December and a sold out headline show at Night Tales Loft in London earlier this month, the Kent born musician returns with a new remix of Mona Lisa featuring British R&B star Mahalia.
The collaboration brings a fresh energy to the track. Jeer’s blend of electronic production, jazz textures and Latin influences pairs seamlessly with Mahalia’s smooth and soulful vocals. Her presence adds a new dimension to the song, turning it into a conversation between the two artists while maintaining the warm, rhythmic feel that defines Jeer’s sound.
Speaking about the collaboration, Jeer said working with Mahalia transformed the record. He explained that having her voice on the track elevated the song and reimagined it in a way he could not achieve alone.
At just 22, Jeer has quickly established himself as a standout new voice in electronic music. The classically trained saxophonist first gained attention in 2023 with the single Her Eyes, which introduced his hypnotic sax melodies layered over deep house rhythms. Since then he has built a growing fanbase and attracted support from outlets including COLORS, Notion and Hunger Magazine, alongside playlist placements across Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music.
Jeer’s path into music has been anything but conventional. Before his breakthrough he studied economics, built a TikTok following of more than 350,000 and worked a range of jobs including boxing, modelling and security work. His musical foundation began much earlier though, completing Grade 8 saxophone before his GCSEs and later developing a more improvisational style under the guidance of Kent saxophonist Tony Rico.
With Everything Is Temporary continuing to gain traction and the Mahalia assisted Mona Lisa remix adding another layer to his sound, Charlie Jeer’s rise shows no signs of slowing down.
