KiLLOWEN - Naughties (Single)

London based musician KiLLOWEN returns with his new single Naughties, a love story told through his signature blend of nostalgic sampling and early 2000s references. Built around a slick flip of Acceptable in the 80’s by Calvin Harris, the track filters club era familiarity through KiLLOWEN’s distinctly modern lens, one he has been teasing heavily on TikTok in recent weeks. As ever, the release feels like another chapter in the fully realised audio visual world he has been steadily building.

Raised between Hayes and Buckinghamshire, KiLLOWEN’s sound reflects a life lived across contrasting environments. Influenced by everything from UK underground styles to landmark rap records like Skepta’s Blacklisted, Kendrick Lamar’s Good Kid Maad City, and Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, his music sits comfortably at the intersection of rap, garage and dance culture. Relatable, emotionally sharp and rooted in real experience, his storytelling has seen him become a voice for a generation navigating adulthood in modern Britain.

Momentum has continued to snowball following breakout moments like Sober and his debut project Pub Therapy, and he closed 2025 on a high with Motion Sickness, a collaboration with Songer, alongside a Notion Magazine Best New Rap and Hip Hop nomination. With a 14 date UK and EU tour kicking off this March, Naughties feels less like a return and more like another confident step forward for an artist very much in his stride.
