The time has come. Steam Down’s debut album, “I Realised It Was Me”, is finally out.

It's a strange thing, putting something so personal out into the world. This album is a journey, and like any journey, it wasn't always easy. We've been through a lot to get here—the chaos of a world that feels like it's spinning too fast, the overwhelming pressure of toxic cycles, and the constant feeling of being pushed down. We've grappled with the desire to escape on tracks like "Martians" and "Tempest", and we've faced the painful reality of being drawn to things that hurt us.

In the middle of all that, we had to confront some difficult truths. "Conflicted" is about that internal struggle between survival and morality. How do you do what's right when it feels like everything is working against you? This led to the moment of defiant resistance on "No Follow", a refusal to play by the rules anymore.

But the real turning point, the core of this album, is the moment we realised the power to change was always within us. It's the moment the baggage of the past is finally purged on "Let It Go" and the battle cry of "No Delay" rings out. This album is a testament to the warrior spirit in all of us—the courage to stand firm, to fight for what you believe in, and to choose a new path.

This isn't just an album; it's a guide to finding your own way. It's a reminder that strength comes from looking inward and that a better future is worth fighting for. We hope our music helps you find that warrior spirit within yourself.
