KWONIX Return with Soulful New Single Sweet Karma.

Since dropping Full Speed earlier this year, KWONIX – the transatlantic duo of LA producer Kwo and Richmond vocalist Unïx – have been steadily carving out their own lane in the neo-soul scene. Their latest release, Sweet Karma, feels like the natural next step.

The track blends groove-heavy basslines with silky R&B textures, offering up a vibrant yet effortless slice of modern soul. Lyrically, it reflects on the fallout of a break-up and the sting of hindsight, delivered with the duo’s signature honesty.

Speaking on the release, Kwo recalls the moment the collaboration clicked: “When Unïx first sent the vocals back, I was floored – that’s when I knew we had to keep creating together. My favourite part is the subtle key change in the second verse; it gives the whole track a lift.”

Unïx adds that the track grew out of a “funky” guitar riff and a burst of break-up song energy: “The words to the first verse poured out of me. I was half-joking, thinking ‘losing me is the worst thing that could happen to someone’ – but it worked.”

With Unïx’s rich, playful vocals drawing comparisons to Anderson .Paak and Moses Sumney, and Kwo’s ear for jazzy, soul-soaked production, KWONIX are fast becoming ones to watch. Sweet Karma may be arriving in autumn, but it carries all the spirit of a summer anthem.
