A!MS - Peak Season (Album)

A!MS launches new sound with Peak Season.

British-Cypriot artist A!MS is shaking things up with the release of his new album Peak Season. The nine-track project introduces his self-styled genre Global Street – a bold mix of hip hop, UK garage and his Mediterranean roots.

Global Street (or “Street Global”, as A!MS puts it) is music for the outsiders – built for creators, streamers, sneakerheads and anyone refusing to be boxed in. “It’s a genre that breaks the limits others try to impose, where music is timeless, art is limitless, and the power is back in the hands of the people,” he explains.

The album, co-produced with hitmakers Cool & Dre, features heavyweight collaborations. Highlights include Light & Love with Julian Marley, delivering a powerful message of unity, and Need Somebody with UK star ArrDee, dripping with Afrobeat energy.

Made in Cyprus – which A!MS calls a “music industry desert” – the album reflects his belief that great music can thrive away from the noise of London. He compares the island’s influence on his sound to the role Jamaica played for Bob Marley: a place of creative freedom.
