Lord Apex Returns With “EM4” Ahead of Smoke Sessions Vol. 4.

West London’s own rap innovator Lord Apex is back with “EM4” — the hard-hitting follow-up to “Initial P” and the second glimpse of his much-anticipated final chapter in the Smoke Sessions series, Smoke Sessions Vol. 4.

Known for his unorthodox style and sharp pen, Apex has carved out a reputation as one of UK rap’s most distinctive voices. “EM4” sees him pairing razor-sharp verses with brooding production from longtime collaborator Angus Luke, tackling personal themes of family loss, life before music and his drive to cement his place as one of the scene’s most respected artists.

Beyond the studio, Apex has become a fixture across fashion and culture, fronting campaigns for the likes of Salomon and Champion, and featuring in Nike and Supreme projects.
