Mobb Deep - Against The World (Single)

Legendary New York hip-hop duo Mobb Deep release the first single since the death of Prodigy in 2017. Produced by surviving member Havoc, Against The World is out now and offers a first glimpse of the group’s anticipated new album, Infinite, which is due out 10th October.

"This one feels like coming full circle," says Havoc.  "It's that classic Mobb energy — dark, real, unfiltered. The sound that shaped who we are but also speaks to where hip-hop is right now."

Infinite features further production by Havoc plus four tracks by frequent and long-term Mobb Deep collaborator The Alchemist.  The album will be the fourth instalment in Mass Appeal’s ongoing Legend Has It… series by New York hip-hop trailblazers, following on from Slick Rick’s Victory, Raekwon’s The Emperor’s New Clothes, Ghostface Killah’s Supreme Clientele 2, and preceding new offerings from Nas & DJ Premier, Big L and De La Soul.

Hailing from Queensbridge, Mobb Deep have helped shape and define East Coast rap music with their gritty, cinematic imagery and haunting production.
