Adi Oasis - Silver Lining (Single)

Adi Oasis has always made resilience sound amazing. Her new single, Silver Lining, her first collaboration with celebrated producer Carrtoons, is a funk-soaked manifesto about embracing chaos and refusing to wait for perfect conditions. It’s a track born not in a studio myth but in lived reality: the night Adi walked onstage in a hotel bathrobe after the airline lost her luggage. What could have been a disaster became alchemy. The show went viral, not because of the outfit, but because of what it symbolised, an artist turning lemons into lemonade, making vulnerability into armour, and chaos into her stage.

That night marked a shift in her perspective. “I really saw what making lemonade out of lemons meant,” Adi explains. “It turned out to be one of my best shows ever and I learned a huge lesson that night. I still try to apply it in my everyday life, and I even developed a secret code word for myself when I need it: just put on a bathrobe.”

“Silver Lining” captures that ethos in song form: shimmering optimism laced with grit, a groove-driven reminder that strength isn’t about avoiding storms but dancing through them. Its hook, echoing the mantra “no pain, no gain,” feels less like cliché than lived wisdom from an artist who toured through pregnancy, navigated postpartum realities in backstages unequipped for mothers, and refused to compromise her ambition at any stage of life.

The track also marks the beginning of a new sonic chapter. Working with Carrtoons, whose jazz-infused funk production have made him one of the most exciting producer in New York’s scene, Adi stretches into fresh terrain without losing the radiant neo-soul-funk DNA that defines her. The result is both defiant and uplifting, a mirror of the artist herself: unshakable, magnetic, and endlessly inventive.

With “Silver Lining,” Adi Oasis doesn’t just sing about resilience, she embodies it, turning a bathrobe into a symbol, a setback into a breakthrough, and a song into a mantra for anyone learning to find beauty in the mud.
