Reuben Aziz - Too Many (Single)

Southampton-born, London-based musician Reuben Aziz is closing out the summer with his new single Too Many. While rooted in R&B, the track leans into Soul and Pop, carried by a chorus inspired by 50 Cent’s Get Rich or Die Tryin’. Produced alongside iO (J Hus, Lojay, Odeal), it blends Reuben’s smooth melodies with an uplifting, feel-good energy – a refreshing take in a genre often overshadowed by toxic relationship narratives.

At just 21, Reuben has already carved out a unique lane. Balancing Rap and R&B, his sound sits somewhere between Ed Sheeran’s pop sensibilities and Skepta’s grit, with a versatility that allows him to deliver both tender ballads and hard-hitting anthems. Influenced by greats like Michael Jackson, Ne-Yo and Pharrell, he grew up in Southampton with music woven into daily life, thanks in part to his father’s record collection.

Since pivoting from basketball to music in his teens, Reuben has put in the graft – earning viral moments, co-signs from the likes of Stormzy and Clint (Corteiz), and even a support slot on The Artemas’ UK and EU tour. His debut project how did we end up here (2024) proved his ability to refine early demos into polished, standout tracks, picking up support from COLORS, Clash and more.

With Too Many, Reuben isn’t just showcasing his growth – he’s championing the return of male R&B popstars who aren’t afraid to make music about love. And with a new project on the horizon, his momentum is only just building.
