Reuben Aziz Drops Self-Produced Love Anthem ‘City Girls’

Southampton-born, London-based artist Reuben Aziz is back with ‘City Girls’, a self-produced track that fuses smooth R&B textures with sharp rap verses. Equal parts late-night drive soundtrack and “get ready with me” vibe, the song captures Reuben’s signature duality — heartfelt balladry wrapped in 90s-inspired grooves.

“My generation is less about being ‘outside’ and more about learning the art of chilling with loved ones,” Reuben explains. “I wanted ‘City Girls’ to reflect that — an intimate depiction of love that isn’t celebrated enough today.”

At just 21, Reuben already sits in a unique lane between Ed Sheeran’s melodic storytelling and Skepta’s rap grit. His journey has taken him from a DIY bedroom studio to working alongside names like Kairo Keys, Backroad Gee, and Unknown T — plus earning co-signs from Clint (Corteiz), Jim Legxacy, and Stormzy.
