Sub Hop Collective: Relly + Kulture – Blue Moon (Official Video)

Brain Scran Presents: Sub Hop Collective – Blue Moon.

Brain Scran are proud to unleash Blue Moon, the debut drop from fresh outfit Sub Hop Collective – a heavyweight blueprint for the bass-heavy madness to come.

At the heart of the project is Kulture (aka Sam Dickison) – once the first artist signed to Skream’s Disfigured Dubz label back in dubstep’s golden era. After years of club shows, radio spins from Rinse FM to Radio 1, and a string of vinyl releases, Kulture vanished from the scene – partly chasing new sounds, partly stepping away as the genre shifted. Over a decade (and one brewery) later, he’s back in the bass game.

Sub Hop Collective was born from his love of hip hop’s rhythmic grit and bass music’s raw power. The mission? Hip hop that bangs hard enough for the rave – weaving in DnB, dubstep and a dash of dancehall energy – while leaving space for MCs to actually say something.

Enter Relly – a Bristol hip hop veteran with two decades of bars, sound system swagger, and Caribbean-infused delivery. The chemistry on Blue Moon was instant – beat, hook, and verses locking together in one studio session.

Shot in Bristol by Grizzly Panda, Blue Moon is the first taste of a hybrid sound built for 3am systems and low-end lovers. Available now on all streaming platforms and via brainscran.com & Bandcamp.
