Nia Wyn Drops Soulful New Single Ahead of All Points East.
Welsh soul talent Nia Wyn is back with Can’t Get No Love ‘Round Here (out 13 August 2025), her first release since February’s acclaimed debut album A Pleasure To Have In Class.
Self-produced and steeped in the spirit of Motown, Stax and Philadelphia soul, the track pairs lush organ and sweeping strings with call-and-response vocals straight out of the 60s girl group playbook. It’s a bittersweet groove — slow and sad, yet still foot-tapping — telling a story of heartbreak, self-doubt, and clinging to second-best.
“I wanted it to be about both toxic relationships and my complicated love/hate with the music industry,” says Nia. “The highs, the lows, and how it can make or break your self-esteem.”
2025 has been a breakout year for Nia: her debut album sold out on vinyl, earned national radio play, and landed her a spot on the AMEX Unsigned roster out of 4,000 applicants. She’s already played SXSW London and LIDO Festival, and will hit the All Points East stage on 15 August alongside Cleo Sol and SAULT, before a UK headline tour in September and support dates for Stone Foundation in November.
Fresh from a July studio session with Paul Weller — whom she previously supported on tour — Nia continues to cement her place as one of the UK’s most compelling new voices, blending vintage soul influences with deeply personal storytelling on queerness, neurodivergence, and mental health.
