B of Briz - A spark in your heart (Single)

With a vocal that's as imperfect as she is, B of Briz presents her alt hip hop love song 'A spark in your heart'. In the third single from her upcoming EP, Solace, B explores different expressions of love, tenderness, and what we can offer each other, and how it can feel to walk alongside someone in their journey.  She says: "One of the big revelations I had about loving people, as an adult, was that there’s ways of navigating the difficulties of life alongside someone else in a way where you’re pointing in the same direction. Might be basic to some, but y’know!"

With a melodic riff that wanders from folky harmonica to classic hip hop piano, with both bounce and dark bass, this is a love song that doesn’t shy away from reality. 'A spark in your heart' was released 31st July 2025, and it's a single that B explains is her attempt to break down her concept of love and what it might mean outside of cliches and well-worn narratives.
