Treeboy x Cactus Corino - Sundance (Single)
Sundance is the new single from Treeboy and Cactus Corino - a groove-led release that finds its strength in rhythm, clarity, and everyday perspective. It’s a track that doesn’t ask to be overthought. Built on syncopated guitar, bossa-style percussion, and soft, layered harmonies, it leans into warmth without sacrificing weight.
The track marks the lead release from the upcoming Native Flora EP, and arrives as both artists continue balancing full-time work with their creative output - an ongoing reality that shapes the tone of the song.
“Sundance is about not waiting on peace to find you,” says Treeboy. “It’s about finding the sun inside yourself — even when the world feels cold.”
“We’ve both had to make time for music around life,” Corino adds. “Balancing the day-to-day with creating forces you to find joy in small moments. That’s what this is — movement, presence, perspective.”
Although the pair collaborate often, their sounds remain distinct. Treeboy handles the vocal, drawing from bossa nova’s emotional range to deliver smooth, tone-rich harmonies. Corino provides the bars - steady, grounded, and clear - creating a back-and-forth that’s laid back but intentional.
“I wanted the vocals to feel like sunlight on your skin - smooth, bright, comforting,” Treeboy says. “The guitar and rhythm give it that groove you can sit with, and still feel something.”
“This one’s about growth,” adds Corino. “It’s the moment after the chaos where you decide to move forward.”
Sundance is out now on all platforms. Follow Treeboy and Cactus Corino for more updates ahead of the full Native Flora EP announcement.
