Wretch 32 x Avelino - More Fire More Flamez (Official Video)

North London heavyweights Wretch 32 and Avelino have reunited under their storied banner Young Fire Old Flame, lighting things up once again with a new single, “More Fire More Flamez.” Dropped alongside a bold new video, the track lands ahead of the forthcoming 10 year anniversary reissue of their classic collaborative project Young Fire Old Flame.

The single is a sharp reminder of why their partnership is held in such high regard. Sampling More Fire Crew’s iconic “Oi,” they flip a piece of UK underground history into something fiercer and more urgent with tight lyricism, switched up pacing and that unmistakable North London edge. It is a homage, but also a statement of evolution: the fire has not dimmed, it has grown.

Their return follows a fresh Daily Duppy, which has already reignited excitement around the duo’s chemistry, the same dynamic energy that made the original 2015 project such a standout moment in British rap. That release was powered not only by impeccable wordplay but also by a now legendary Fire in the Booth, widely hailed as one of the platform’s greatest ever. It cemented the pair as a formidable lyrical force and set a benchmark for collaborative freestyles.

A decade on, both artists stand with even stronger legacies. Wretch 32 has continued to expand his artistic and cultural footprint, from albums like Growing Over Life and Upon Reflection to the introspective Home?, later reimagined on the National Theatre’s Olivier stage. Avelino meanwhile has stepped fully into his own lane, with God Save The Streets earning critical acclaim, chart success and an AIM Award, a definitive statement of his maturity and ambition.

The anniversary edition of Young Fire Old Flame does more than revisit a celebrated project. It spotlights two generations of North London artistry working in tandem, one rooted in experience, the other fuelled by relentless drive, and shows how their shared vision continues to shape British rap. With new music, a new Duppy and that same unmistakable spark, Wretch and Avelino prove that the flame still burns bright.
