PREMIERE: Dub Pistols x Freestylers ft: Harry Shotta - Back On The Circuit (Single)

British electronic legends Dub Pistols & Freestylers return with their most audacious track yet, 'Back On The Circuit' featuring UK MC Harry Shotta, out November 28th via Cyclone Records. The single offers another explosive glimpse into their highly anticipated collaboration album Enter The Sound, arriving March 6, 2026.

'Back On The Circuit' sees Dub Pistols & Freestylers pay homage to one of their shared influences, The Clash, with a bold reimagining of one of the band's classics. Rebuilding every element from the ground up, the duo deliver a contemporary, club focused take that retains the raw energy of the original while injecting their trademark breakbeat attitude.

"Harry Shotta is one of the UK's most dynamic MCs, he adds a fresh lyrical edge and is renowned for his rapid-fire flow and commanding stage presence," the duo explains. "He brings his unmistakable wordplay to the track, bridging punk spirit and modern rave culture."

The collaboration represents a perfect fusion of influences that have shaped both acts since the big beat era of the mid 1990s. With Harry Shotta's explosive delivery cutting through the breakbeat assault, 'Back On The Circuit' captures the rebellious energy of punk rock filtered through decades of dancefloor evolution.

Born from a friendship forged in the explosive big beat era of the mid 1990s, Enter The Sound represents decades of shared stages, mutual respect, and creative synergy finally captured in album form. The record takes listeners on an expansive sonic journey through reggae, ska, hip hop, trip hop, breaks, and jungle, showcasing the full spectrum of influences that have defined both acts' groundbreaking careers.

Barry Ashworth, founding member of Dub Pistols, reflects on the collaboration: "Throwback to the mid 90s when Freestylers were a huge part of the Dub Pistols' early journey! We shared the stage during the big beat era, touring the US and Europe, forming a lasting friendship. They've played a pivotal role in my last album, Frontline, so it felt right to join forces for 'Enter The Sound.' The album truly encapsulates what we're both about."

The album features an impressive roster of collaborators including Jonny Osborne, Tippa Irie, General Levy, Too Many T's, Horseman, Belle Humble, Scarlett Quinn, Tennor Fly, MC Spyda, Seanie T, and JA13.
