Nigerian-British rapper DEELA returns with her latest single ‘Why Always Me?’, a bold teaser of what’s to come on her upcoming mixtape Wicked, landing this November.

Built on bouncy, club-ready production, the track showcases DEELA’s razor-sharp lyricism and distinctive global sound – one that continues to cement her place as one of the UK’s most exciting new voices.

Speaking on the release, DEELA explains: “It’s about dominating whatever I do in an unconventional way. I explored that with visuals mixing sport and high fashion – because doing it my way is the only way to win.”

September saw DEELA everywhere – from London Fashion Week appearances for Charlie Constantinou, AGRO, and Lueder, to completing the Shoreditch 10k for Saucony. It’s clear she’s stepping into a new chapter, balancing music, style, and ambition with effortless energy.

Since rediscovering her passion for music during the pandemic, DEELA has carved out a fearless sonic identity, blending trap and hip-hop while building a global creative community.
