Pozzy - wait and see (Single)

Bury St Edmunds-born and London-based artist Pozzy unveils his new single wait and see, ahead of the final phase of his forthcoming project ‘it’s all up in the air’, set for release on 11th November. Produced by quill and ottomp3, ‘wait and see’ delivers a brain-cleansing sonic landscape carried by Pozzy’s effortless flow and calm introspection that oozes tranquility. As he continues to chronicle his journey as a rising musician and young adult finding his place in the world, Pozzy explores themes of relationships, ambition, self-discovery, and forward momentum, something young people are prioritising more than ever. Following standout performances at All Points East this summer, a recent show in Norway, as well as a private London playback earlier this month, Pozzy steps confidently into his next chapter despite everything still being up in the air.

Raised in Bury St Edmunds, 20-year-old musician, Pozzy is a rising voice in the UK alternative music scene, blending grime, rap, r&b, and electronic influences into a sound that’s as introspective as it is infectious. Music first entered his life at age six, when he began playing piano, eventually reaching grade five before restlessness pulled him toward the thrill of music production. While his friends chose the route of sixth form, Pozzy followed instinct, taking up a production course at West Suffolk College, which later led him to the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London. Growing up, his influences were as varied as Eminem, Ed Sheeran, Adelle, Bruno Mars (a fellow Suffolk native). His Mum once played piano, and his Dad’s political discussions around the dinner table sharpened Pozzy’s sense of perspective, something that would later bleed into his lyricism. Earlier this summer, his track “Might Go Out” became a defining moment before a clip on BBC 1Xtra went viral, leading to co-signs from the likes of DJ Jyoty, namesbliss, Shorty (Boy Better Know) AntsLive, KiLLOWEN, Adidas, and Sir Spyro. With his raw honesty, genre-blurring sound, and commitment to building culture from the ground up, Pozzy is carving a lane that feels both deeply personal and universally relatable.

Pozzy’s recent single ‘step on the train’ offered listeners an early glimpse into what’s to come on his upcoming project ‘it’s all up in the air’. The track received excitement far and wide, earning support from NME, Wonderland, and Hypebeast UK, where he also gave his first interview around the mixtape. The past few months have been filled with clear signs of his ability to hone his craft with precision and purpose to mark himself as one to watch for 2026.
