JayaHadADream - Happiness From Agony (Mixtape Release Party - 23.10.25)

JayaHadADream celebrates her debut mixtape titled ‘Happiness From Agony’.

The evening was a very informative and summarising review of Jaya’s solo final recordings and collaborations in her latest project. Hosted by DJ Semtex at E20’s Nico’s Bar, the Cambridge MC stated that her hometown, upbringing and loved ones inspired her to portray a truthful, nostalgic and humble feeling that comes from the heart; clearly to create an impact on hardcore lyrics and beats to demonstrate real life situations and dynamic personalities in people; which can be identified throughout all the tracks, starting from: State Of The World to Nothing’s Changed.

“ I just want to represent Cambridge. I feel like there is a lot of stories to tell and a lot of struggle” - JayaHadADream talking with DJ Semtex

On the ‘Happiness From Agony’ mixtape, Jaya has dropped five special collaborations, including ‘Hideout’ featuring Boy Better Know’s Frisco, ‘Repackage’ ft Capo Lee, ‘Yoga’ ft Keeya Keys, ‘Main Characters’ featuring West London’s Big Zuu and ‘If It Ain’t’ ft Coops. The music video for If It Ain’t was released on 24th October and now can be viewed on Jaya’s Youtube channel (you can also check it out below).

Lastly, How can we forget this moment?. The female tomboy teacher turned grime MC; kindly treated her audience to an electrifying performance. And to continue the exhilaration, Jaya made way to share the stage with Bruza, grime Journalist, Jamakabi and other peers from the grime scene with no introduction needed.

‘Happiness From Agony’ is out now on all digital platforms.
