Lahde Steps Into Her Power with Sunshine and Lead Single “All Night”.

Rising artist Lahde unveils her boldest chapter yet with the release of Sunshine, a project that captures transition, self discovery, and unapologetic womanhood. Blending R&B, Afrobeats, Hip Hop, and Alternative sounds, Sunshine radiates both strength and softness, embodying Lahde’s dual nature. The album arrives in two parts, the first this autumn and the second in November, mirroring the season’s sense of change.

Speaking on the project, Lahde shares: “Sunshine is about embracing all the sides of myself, the bold, the soft, the strong, the sensual. It’s a celebration of being multidimensional and unapologetic.”

The striking lead single “All Night” is a late night confessional disguised as a club anthem. Its pulsing beats and euphoric energy mask a deeper emotional tension, a search for release and self-awareness once the music fades. For Lahde, creating All Night became a moment of reconnection with her Nigerian heritage and a reaffirmation of trust in her creative process.

Born Oluwafunmilade Ayomide Oyapero in Abeokuta, Nigeria, and raised in Canada, Lahde’s sound bridges continents. With roots in Afro rhythms and a global perspective shaped by her upbringing, she’s quickly emerging as a defining new voice in R&B and Afrobeats. Following her debut EP RedEye and the follow up Auburn, Sunshine marks a powerful evolution, a homecoming to her roots and a declaration of identity, artistry, and womanhood.

Sunshine (Part One) is out now, with Part Two arriving this November.
