Paris-based trumpeter, composer and producer Béesau (aka Rémy Béesau) returns with his first release of the year, PAS ENCORE — a stunning preview of his forthcoming album Une Fleur et des Papillons, due this autumn.
Known for his visionary approach to jazz, Béesau has built a strong following in France, earning acclaim for his COLORS session and collaborations with global talents such as Blue Lab Beats. With PAS ENCORE, he delivers a deeply emotive piece that blends organic breakbeats, pensive basslines and soaring brass into a cinematic journey of longing, tension and unspoken truths in relationships.
The single is accompanied by a striking video directed by Rémi Belleville, shot in Quebec’s Lower St. Lawrence region. It follows a couple trying to escape an island seemingly frozen in time, mirroring the song’s themes of love, fear and fragile turning points.
Béesau’s upcoming album promises to expand on these ideas — exploring romance, self-discovery and the courage to fight for what matters most. In his own words, the “fleur” represents the loved one, while the “papillons” symbolise both love itself and the butterflies it stirs within us.
With PAS ENCORE, Béesau sets the stage for an album that feels both intimate and universal, a soundtrack for anyone navigating the complexities of love and growth.
