As one of the most influential players in the UK hip hop scene as a solo artist (Fliptrix), one-quarter of The Four Owls (Big Owl) and founder & CEO of High Focus Records (Zander), Fliptrix continues to ascend.

A year on from the highly acclaimed album ‘Mantra No.9’, and off the back of a UK tour in March this year, Fliptrix returns with triumphant new single ‘Funky Microphone’. Out now on High Focus, Fliptrix also serves up an enduring back to basics music video, shot in the wilds of rural Portugal, where he now resides.

From a basement studio in Camberwell to living off-grid in the Portuguese mountains, Fliptrix has always manifested his dreams in the music he makes. A cool fourteen years since establishing High Focus Records, the label continues to flourish; recently surpassing 280,000,000 views (and counting) on YouTube. Having contributed 10 x solo LPs and 3 x Owls LPs to the HF canon, his efforts continue to blur the lines between solo artist and label boss.
