The Sunset Kings on the meaning behind ‘One Man Army’: “One Man Army is about that isolating tunnel vision you get when you are just so focused on accomplishing something. I don't think it's a new thing, but these days we are barraged by the pressure to perform at impossible speeds, create create create, and "One Man Army" is about the jekyll-and-hyde of ambition. One moment, you're on top of the world feeling like no one can match your output and you are the shit, and the next you could be spiralling wondering why you're sitting alone in the trials of your life and not realising that you maybe pushed people away with the intensity of HAVING to complete something (that in the end, maybe only meant something to you). Overall "One Man Army" is a reminder to me that your friends, the people who love you, want to see the best version of you but they also know you can't be that best version of yourself alone.”
