PREMIERE: Simiah & The Phantom Ensemble - Earth Tone
Happy Friday people! The weekend is more or less upon us and what better way to kick it off than with something new and exclusive from the guys at KingUnderground? We’re proud to be bringing you the first listen to Earth Tone ; the latest track to be lifted from the upcoming EP from Simiah & The Phantom Ensemble.
Landing on the 15th of the month; Bristol-based Simiah’s been bunkered down with his MPC alongside the keys of Dan Somers & Craig Crofton’s Sax to craft the beautiful Connections EP. With Jazz very much at the core, the instrumental release blends sharp loops, crisp percussion and live instrumentation. Finely crafted admist a monthly-residency at Gallimaufry in Bristol, the trio have since added to their numbers in advance of the project’s release. It’s that perfect kick-back and unwind with your pick of poison Hip Hop that would comfortably stand it’s ground in any Jazz arena.
