KEAKIE - A Week Of Free Events Across The Capital

Keakie is looking to do big things! The new music platform, set to rival Spotify, by boasting only underground artists, is launching and it’s bringing the artists to the masses with a week of free events across the capital.

Kicking off the week on Monday at Emily’s Bar is the ever-soulful Etta Bond, with artists Mugun, Shadez the Misfit, Ade Kensei + NFTR, Lemzi, Yvon and DJ A.G. supporting.

Tuesday expect the ‘genre-less UK rap crew’ House of Pharaohs to shake up East London’s Not Just Another Store.

On Wednesday, Last Night in Paris, hailed as the UK’s Odd Future, will also be playing Not Just Another Store.

Thursday, Chop Chop will be hosting [KMY.], eahwee and Psygon for all the Lo Fi heads out there!

And rounding off the week will be Simao (FRYHIDE), the classically and musically trained DJ who is slowly becoming one of the biggest names in the underground DJ circuit, with Cheng, Brabwax and Keakie’s own Matt Starr at Lion + Coffee Records.
