adidas Originals x Drama Call: Head South with Drop Two

adidas Originals and Manchester heavyweights Drama Call are back with the next chapter in their link-up, and this time they’re bringing the noise to London. After setting things off with their debut collab earlier this year, the duo return with drop two: a fresh off-white take on the Superstar II “Drama” alongside a street ready apparel capsule.

The first drop leaned into the North’s identity, paying tribute to Manchester’s Metrolink and everything it symbolises. Now the energy shifts down South, continuing the transport inspired narrative that maps Drama Call’s movement across the UK. This latest campaign features a line-up of familiar British faces Headie One, Aitch, Shaun Ryder, and Window Kid, connecting generations while celebrating the culture that shapes them.

The Superstar II “Drama” in its new off-white colourway blends adidas’ heritage with Drama Call’s disruptive streak. Details include the Drama star stitched across the heel tab, tongue, and sole, plus a mirrored silver hangtag sitting side by side with adidas’ iconic three stripes. Completing the drop is a terrace inspired apparel capsule with two Beckenbauer tracksuits in off-white and black, nodding to 90s streetwear but reworked for 2025.

Speaking on the collab, adidas called it “a symbol of collaboration, heritage, and fresh energy for 2025,” while Drama Call founder Charlie Bows summed it up with their trademark attitude: “Drop one’s ‘Head North’ campaign celebrated where we started; ‘Head South’ celebrates where we are going.”

The second drop lands on Saturday 27th September with a central London takeover. Details go live via Drama Call’s channels on the morning of launch, with fans invited to hit up a pop-up ticket office on London’s South Bank to collect their Drama Call pass for the main event.
