Brotherman returns to the game with a fire breathing set of bars, reworking DJ XTC - Functionz On The Low / Stormzy - Shut up Remix.

We recently caught up with Brotherman ((here) to find out the news of his forthcoming album, including his collaboration with Essa. This rework “try Follow” shows just how talented the UK based lyricist is, taking a UK rap beat and spitting for nearly 5 minutes. With visuals from Rob McDaid, featuring a recording session at Map Studios with Sam Dyson, this is not to be missed! Keep an eye out for Brotherman’s album dropping in 2020.

I've been known for having a laid-back style to my lyricism. I've always loved functionz on the low by DJ XTC which was most bought back to the spotlight by Stormzy's Shut Up. I was inspired to try something different over this beat.
