Kojo Funds - Long Time (Official Video)

Kojo Funds has unveiled the video for ‘Long Time’, the opening track from his new EP HELLO IT’S ME AGAIN, as the East London artist celebrates a decade in the game.

Built around a smooth R&B bounce, ‘Long Time’ finds Kojo reflecting on gratitude, lasting relationships and appreciating what you have. He describes the track as “a heartfelt reminder to be grateful for loved ones and the richness of what you possess, even when it feels like it’s not enough.”

That sense of thankfulness runs throughout HELLO IT’S ME AGAIN, while the project also highlights how Kojo’s signature Afroswing sound has evolved. From the Dancehall and Afrobeat energy of ‘How Many’ to the silky R&B of ‘Ready’, shimmering ‘Problems’ and bass heavy closer ‘I Need’, the EP sees Kojo comfortably widening his musical palette.

A decade on from breaking through with Abra Cadabra collaboration ‘Dun Talkin’, Kojo Funds remains one of the defining names of UK Afroswing, with more than 500 million Spotify streams and a catalogue that includes major records alongside RAYE and Mabel.
