Manchester rapper Kenzo Str8Drop releases his new single "Who Needs Enemies", ahead of his forthcoming debut album “Hood Exit” due 21st August out via NQ. The single see’s Kenzo join forces with previous collaborator Kong (Aitch, Blanco, 163Margs, Bou), who provides a foreboding drill instrumental led by haunting strings as the perfect backdrop for Kenzo's gritty realism and tales of survival. An accompanying video grounds similar territories casting Kenzo as the slick protagonist in his trademark blacked out silhouette on his success hungry journey despite the obstacles in front of him. Between featuring alongside Aitch and winning Ellie Prohan's 'Battle Of The North' competition with KISS XTRA, Kenzo has been focused on building a wider body of work to satisfy the appetite of his fast growing audience which will be presented as “Hood Exit” later this month.
Kenzo Str8Drop has always seen obstacles as foundations to build upon.
