Nevmore - 8 to a 10 (Official Video)

Northampton rapper Nevmore returns with new single “8 to a 10”, landing September 4 following his May collaboration “Gridlock” with South London’s CHIMZ. Produced by Daveyoh, whose credits include Chip and Scorcher, the track finds Nevmore stepping into mellow grime territory, pairing crisp, drum heavy production with witty punchlines, sharp references and his characteristically playful lyricism.

The track’s title reflects Nevmore’s own evolution, inspired by Wayne Rooney’s rise from teenage wonderkid at Manchester United in 2004 to taking the iconic number 10 shirt in 2007. Drawing inspiration from the current mellow scene and artists including namesbliss, DeeRiginal, Saiming and Paul Stephan, Nevmore describes the single as his introduction to a different side of his sound.

Accompanying “8 to a 10” is a Dave Lunt directed video filmed around Primrose Hill and across London, capturing the capital in the summer sunshine. The visual arrives on September 3, with “8 to a 10” released across all major streaming platforms on September 4.
