Lexus - The Oven Door (EP)

Nottingham rapper Lexus delivers sharp lyricism and honest storytelling on his latest six track project, The Oven Door.

Built around soulful, sample driven production, the project takes inspiration from classic hip hop while filtering it through a distinctly British perspective. Tracks including “Mr. Tek,” “No Evil” and “Dat Nuh Right” explore identity, resilience, relationships and the realities of modern life, with Lexus balancing introspection and vulnerability with humour, social commentary and layered references.

The Oven Door continues an independent run that has already produced projects including Home Truths, From The Inside Looking Out and There’s No Heroes, further establishing Lexus as an artist focused on substance, personality and strong writing rather than chasing trends.

Away from the studio, Lexus also performs as Lexus and The Vice Collective, bringing drums and bass into his live setup for a rawer, more energetic take on his music.
