Tamara Dos Santos - Kick It (Single)

London based R&B artist Tamara Dos Santos returns with new single ‘Kick It’, the second taste of her forthcoming EP From a Yearner to Another, arriving later this year.

Following June’s sultry ‘Only Me’, ‘Kick It’ reveals a more playful and confident side to Tamara’s sound. Inspired by the different sides of yearning, the track trades heartbreak for chemistry, anticipation and the excitement of wanting to take a connection beyond the phone. “It’s fun, bold, flirtatious and unapologetically confident, while still fitting into the wider story of yearning that connects the project,” she explains.

Drawing inspiration from R&B icons including Mary J Blige and Lauryn Hill, Tamara combines powerful vocals and layered harmonies with influences from her Portuguese and Angolan roots. Based in South London and already championed by COLORS, Ones To Watch, Viper Magazine and Wordplay Magazine, she continues to carve out her own space within contemporary R&B while independently shaping her music on her own terms.
