Fresh from the release of his critically acclaimed third album REDSTAR WU & THE WORLDWIDE SCOURGE, Ghanaian Australian artist Genesis Owusu has surprise dropped new single "HUMAN AGAIN" via OURNESS.

Written as a response to the emotional exhaustion of living in an age of misinformation and digital overload, "HUMAN AGAIN" explores the temptation to switch off from the world's problems in search of escapism. But beneath its glitchy electronic production and snarling vocals lies a hopeful message, one that champions empathy, community and the importance of continuing to care, even when it's easier not to.

The track builds on the themes of REDSTAR WU & THE WORLDWIDE SCOURGE, a record that has been widely praised for its fearless commentary on modern life, blending experimental production with sharp lyricism and deeply personal reflections. The album has already earned acclaim from the likes of The Guardian, NME, MOJO, DIY and Pitchfork, while debuting at No. 3 on the ARIA Albums Chart and topping Australia's vinyl chart.

Owusu has also been taking the new material on the road, playing festivals across Europe and selling out headline shows in London and Paris following an Australian tour. More European festival appearances and an extensive North American run are still to come later this year.
